Commodore’s Word
Dear members:
We are going through a difficult passage with the confinement, isolation and uncertainty associated with this pandemic. These elements have disrupted the season that has just ended and it is still too soon to know what the impacts will be for the next season.
What we do know, however, is that we will soon be holding our Annual General Meeting by videoconference, during which we will have to elect the next Committee. You will soon receive all the information you need to do so.
To date, only six members of the Executive Committee are willing to remain on the Executive next year. This means that there are four positions to be filled. Namely: the Membership Chairman, the Rear-Commodore (Racing Chairman), the Grounds Chairman and finally the Social Activities Chairman.
We don’t anticipate a very busy year from a social activities perspective next year, given the current situation. However, it is important to fill the other positions to ensure the smooth running of our club next season.
